Atomscistudio is itself licensed under the GPL v3 license. However, Atomscistudio also makes use of lots of compatibly licensed third party open source softwares. They have their own licenses, and here below is an incomplete but growing list of licenses and acknowledgements for them.
- Qt 6 is licensed under LGPL v3 and GPL v3. Not all Qt modules are under LGPL v3, but the majority of Qt modules are available under GPL v3, which is the license Atomscistudio is under.
- Boost is licensed under Boost Software License 1.0.
- OpenSSL 1.1.1, 1.1.0, 1.0.2 are licensed under the dual OpenSSL and SSLeay license.
- OpenSSL 3.0 and later releases are licensed under Apache License v2.
- Libssh2 is licensed under BSD-3-Clause License.
- Armadillo is licensed under Apache License v2.
- BLAS is a freely-available software package.
- LAPACK is licensed under the modified BSD license.
- Atomsciflow is licensed under MIT License.

- OpenCASCADE is licensed under LGPL v2.1 with exceptions. As LGPL license is GPL-compatible, we use OpenCASCADE in atomscistudio project.
