When you ran into the problem, did you have diagnostic logging enabled?

Diagnostic Logging was Enabled: YES

What were you doing when the problem occurred

  1. Initial phases of setting up Pi Cam v2
  2. After following installation guides, i am unable to enable CUSTOM IMAGE PREFERENCE
  3. i am able to successfully do a TEST WEBCAM but i do not see a CAMERA preview and what i see is :"No Snapshots have been taken with the current camera........."

What should have happened?

able enable custom image preference(?), see a TIMELAPSE PREVIEW(?)

What happened instead?

instead of seeing a TIMELAPSE PREVIEW i just see this prompt :"No Snapshots have been taken with the current camera........."

If you like this project, please support my work by becoming a patron, and consider adding a 'star' to the repository. It takes a lot of time and effort to maintain the project and respond to issues. The cost of test prints, software, cameras, printer parts, etc. can quickly add up, so every bit helps.

Hope you can help me.. thanks.. happy new year

You won't see any images until a snapshot is taken during a print.

I'm seeing this for the entire duration of the print.
At the end of the print I get a video result, so it's evidently taking snapshots throughout the print. But the preview never shows.

See for example:

exact same problem as micheal-hill here

I'm also having the same problem, except I'm running Octoprint on Windows. Prints start and finish, and the timelapse videos are generated perfectly, but I never see a preview

Same issue here: "No snapshots have been taken with the current camera. A preview of your timelapse will start to appear here as snapshots are taken by Octolapse."

I'm also having this issue but I'm running a rather strange setup with octoprint on WSL Ubuntu in windows and an Android Xiaomi smartphone as camera, using the ipwebcam app. I followed this guide to get things running, except for the octoprint install part, for that I just used the octoprint_deploy script

I have the same issue, running on a Raspberry Pi 3B with Pi Camera.
The snapshot count show that snapshots were taken, the video is rendered correctly, but still get the message error and no preview.
