Hi
The database installation by default installs the files only in the LabelDatabase direcotry, but the program needs these files in the SeedDatabase directory too. I tried setting path, but nothing worked until I copied the files from LabelDatabase directory into SeedDatabase directory.
Please fix the issue in the script, this has been a long running issue. I faced this same issue about a year ago when I installed this for the first time in a different computer.

  1. Please search for similar issues (e.g. failing to get databases with correct sha256 checksum #175 ) before posting a new one.
  2. Please always attach the running/installation log, which helps solve the problem if it really exists.
  3. Please see the instructions for GetOrganelleDB installation: https://github.com/Kinggerm/GetOrganelleDB#getorganelle-database, where you may find that "trying the above command more times will simply work in most cases", alternatively you may try Option 2.
  4. "copied the files from LabelDatabase directory into SeedDatabase directory" may work but is not recommended.

I just checked the sha256 associated codes. There is a mistake introduced 5 months ago (8ed0337). I will fix it in the coming release. Thanks a lot for reporting this!

The issue you faced about a year ago can be different. It will be good if you could have logs for any of these.

I just fixed it in the Github version of GetOrganelle. You may use get_organelle_config.py of the GitHub version to install online default databases now. Alternatively, you may use Option 2 of the instructions for GetOrganelleDB installation: https://github.com/Kinggerm/GetOrganelleDB#getorganelle-database

I need to fix another pending issue before releasing a formal conda version. Thanks for your patience.
