A wall mountable USB organiser.
Want to tidy up your desk or see at a glance which USB devices you've misplaced? Mount this board on a wall, plug in some USB (flash drives, cables, etc), label the connectors if you want...
All grounds and mounting holes are electrically linked but no connection is make to any power or data pins.
The photo above shows:
- a v1.0 board on the left with 5 USB cables plugged into it
- a v1.1 board on the right with 2 USB flash drives plugged into it
- Send gerber files to a PCB manufacturer, e.g. JLC PCB
- Solder USB connectors ... or just glue them on
- Label the connectors (optional)
- Mount it somewhere (e.g. a wall)
- Stick USB things in it
