Description

This project is a website designed for Venusya, an imaginary clothing brand. Its purpose is to present the brand's chic and elegant style while delivering a user-friendly and captivating web experience.

Please note that this project is a work in progress, and numerous changes will be implemented until its completion.

Origins

This project was initiated with the goal of demonstrating the author's proficiency in web development and programming.

Objectives

• Develop a complete, comprehensive and user-friendly website.
  • Enhance its dynamism and user engagement.
  • Improve its acessibility as much as possible.
  • Make it mobile, tablet and desktop compatible.
• Maintain the distinct 'Venusya vibe.'
• Implement a backend system for brand administrators to manage tasks such as (but not limited to) adding/removing products and adjusting pricing.

• index.html: Responsible for the foundation of the website.

• syle.css: Responsible for the stylization of the website.

• script.js: Responsible for the dynamism of the website (currently empty, as it has not been worked on).

• README.md: This file itself, responsible for guiding you throughout the repository and project.

• .gitignore: Responsible for ignoring extra not needed files, keeping the repository clean and easy to look through.

• Images: Responsible for holding the images used in the project.

How to use

To experience this project, simply follow these steps:

1. Open the index.html file in your web browser or click here.
2. Explore the project's homepage.

Features

Explore the elegance of Venusya through these key features:

• Brand Exploration: Click on the Venusya logo to return to the homepage and explore the brand's offerings effortlessly.

• Engaging Hover Effects: Experience dynamic and engaging hover effects on various links, buttons, and images, adding interactivity to your browsing.

• Social Media Icons: Redirect you to the respective social media.

• Payment Methods Icons: Inform you of the payment methods accepted.

• Like Buttons with Animations: Interact with our products by clicking the "like" button. It fills with color when liked and empties with a smooth animation when unliked.

• Product Descriptions on Hover: Hover over a product to read its description instantly, enhancing your shopping experience.

• Menu Button (Laptop Version): For laptop users, a menu button has been added for easy navigation. Simply click to open or close the menu.

• Multiple Device Compatibility: Read "Compatibility" for more info.

Features to be added

The following features are meant to be added in the future:

• Responsive buttons: buttons like add to bag or add to wishlist will do what they are meant to.
• Product Looking: you will be able to open the product page with more details about it.
• Collection Exploring: you will be able to open the new collection page through the image.
• Whishlist: You will be able to open you wishlist.
• Shooping Bag: You will be able to open your shopping bag.
• login/register : you will be able to login or register.
• my profile: you will be able to access your profile.
• footer links: you will be able to open all the links on the footer.

(Additional features may be added as the project evolves.)

Compatibility (last update: 17-09-2023)

• Browser Compatibility: This project has been tested and optimized for Google Chrome version 116.0.5845.141 (Official Build) (64-bit). While it may work on other browsers, we recommend using Chrome for the best experience.
• Device Compatibility: Although it still needs some improvements, the webshop is built to be functional on all devices such as desktop and laptops, tablets and smartphones.
