Reporting Issues

Please create a github issue if you run into problems. You can do that here.
If you are creating an issue, please follow the provided template.

Project File

If your Cura is not slicing a model as expected, please include a project file
It's useful to share your projectfile. It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting.
To save a project file go to File -> Save project.
Please make sure to .zip your project file. For big files, you may need to use WeTransfer or similar file-sharing sites.

Cura Log

If your Cura is not behaving as expected, please include a log
You can find your log file here:
Windows: %APPDATA%\cura<Cura version>\cura.log or usually C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\cura<Cura version>\cura.log
MacOS: $USER/Library/Application Support/cura//cura.log
Ubuntu/Linux: $USER/.local/share/cura//cura.log

Configuration Folder

If your Cura is not handling certain materials, or printers well, please include your configuration folder.
You can share your configuration folder by:
1. Go to Help at the top bar of Cura
2. Select Show Configuration Folder
3. Select all the folders in there and create a zip OR go up a folder in your folder structure and zip your folder with the correct Cura version

Extensive Logging Plugin

If your Cura is not performing as fast as expected, please include the zip from the Extensive Logging Plugin
To learn better about what's slowing your software down, could you install a plug-in that performs more extensive logging?

You can download it here
After it's installed can you....
1. Select Extensions
2. Select Remote Support
3. Start CPU profiler
4. Repeat your steps to reproduce.
5. Stop CPU profiler
6. Select Save Remote Support Archive
7. Go to the Marketplace
8. Select the gear icon
9. Uninstall Startup Optimiser
10. Share the Remote Support Archive Zip file here on Github

Missing Printer

If you are missing your printer please first check the definitions list if your printer is already added and will be shipped with the next release.

If your printer is not there,you or anyone else is more than welcome to work on adding this 3d printer and create a pull request yourself.
