Counselor and Jason profiles enable players to select different counselors or installments of Jason to play as. Profiles have different levels, abilities, skins, and more.

- Composure - Dictates how easily scared the counselor is based on how close they are to Jason, light levels, and when seeing dead corpses.
- Luck - Increases chances of finding rare goods in things like opening chests.
- Intelligence - Assists in tasks like trap setting and repairs.
- Speed - The walk/run speed of the counselor
- Stamina - The higher the stamina, the longer the counselor can go before needing to take a break.
- Stealth - Dictates how easily the counselor is able to be spotted by Jason.
- Strength - Attack strength.
