Ubuntu Minimal OS Image - Mainline Kernel 5.0.0-rc2 - SD CARD

NanoPi M4 with:

  • HDMI
  • USB 2
  • DVFS
  • Thermal
  • ethernet
  • htop with GPU, CPU Temp monitor

Use 7zip to decompress rk3399_ubuntu-minimal-mainline-kernel-5-rc2.7z and burn SD CARD with etcher or win32diskimager.

Requirements:

  • 4 GB sd card or more (get a new one with a good brand)
  • Make sure your USB SDHC writer is good.
  • Bad SD CARD or bad USB writer will get you in trouble, save yourself time and trouble

User: ubuntu
Password: ubuntu

NanoPi M4 takes 5 to 10 secs to boot until you get a login prompt if you don't see anything on screen, hit ENTER twice and type ubuntu and ubuntu again.

resize_rrotfs.sh will check for SD card on /dev/mmcblk1

After a boot, you can run resize_rrotfs.sh to extend the size of the card
run:
sudo chmod +x ./resize_rootfs.sh
sudo ./resize_rootfs.sh
sudo reboot

You may need to update /etc/resolver.conf (DNS resolver)
