Hello, I am Dinesh Palli. 👋

I am a python developer and a biologist.

Glad to see you here!

📜 About

I am a student of M. Sc Plant Sciences at the LMU, München.

📍 Work

my banner

Currently a BI analysis werkstudent at Olympus, Hamburg.

Concurrently, an open-source contributor in biomedical AI at Prof Dr Dagmar Kainmüller’s lab, in collaboration with Helmholtz Imaging, Berlin where I work on deep learning in image analysis.

🧑🏻‍💻 Experience

I am a part of the open-source community, where I contributed to the development of SquidPy and SquidPy notebooks, tools for the analysis and visualization of spatial molecular data click_here. I developed a visualization tool for single-cell datasets at Charité. I contributed to the development of PolarityJam, a tool designed for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing cellular data from images. I have experience using PyTorch, Numpy, Pandas, Linux and HPC.

I tutored the courses "Machine Learning in Image Analysis" course at Hasso Plattner Institute for 72 students and "Introduction to Single-Cell RNA Sequencing Data Analysis with ScanPy” at the Helmholtz AI for 28 students.

Additionally, I enjoy hands-on work in the lab.

I'm not saying I'm smart, but I do play 5D chess with multiverse time travel. It's like normal chess, but with an added dose of ego-shattering defeat and existential crisis. But hey, at least I get to call myself a chess master of the multiverse, right? When I'm not busy being a full-time nerd, you can find me backpacking through the wilderness, whipping up some gourmet meals in the kitchen, or devouring the pages of a good book. In my free time, I enjoy engaging in a variety of physical activities, including working out, badminton, skating, and swimming. Just call me a jack-of-all-trades (but hopefully not a master of none!) So whether I'm exploring the great outdoors, whipping up a tasty meal, or hitting the books (or badminton courts), I'm always up for a new adventure.

I may not have any superpowers, but I pride myself on being a kind, and honest person. It's like my own personal version of a cape and tights. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's a lot easier to wash than spandex.😅 Nothing is as good, if you don't share it! Keep Smiling!
