Nixos/Nix-Bitcoin Initial deployment hanging

Hello I followed the instructions on the installation guide and after running the deploy command from my remote host, the following step in the process has been hanging for > 10 hours. Is this to be expected? I'm deploying to a box with an Intel Celeron J3455

After line building '/nix/store/...-nixos-system-bitcoin-node-23.11pre-git.drv'.. is shown it should take no longer than 2 minutes for further output to appear.
Try restarting the deployment.
