Setup biometric machine under LAN

Note: Machine used is based on ESSL K30 Pro

  1. On Biometric Device go to Menu > SysInfo > Device Tab System Info

    • Note down the MAC Address: e.g. 00:0a:95:9d:68:16

  2. On Biometric device, Go to Menu > Comm. > Network. And set the fields as: System Info

    • IP Address : 192.168.1.199
    • Subnet : 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway : 192.168.1.1
    • DNS Server : 192.168.1.1

  3. On Router admin (192.168.1.1), Go to IP & MAC Binding Section

    • Add new binding Add new MAC IP Binding
      • Bind : Check
      • MAC Address : 00:0a:95:9d:68:16, copy the previously noted MAC Address here
      • IP Address : 192.168.1.199 (Note this will be the Device Static IP)
      • Click Save
    • Set the ARP Binding to "Enable" Enable ARP Binding
