real-time-socket.io

Description: This project is a simple chat application built using Socket.IO and ExpressJS. Users can connect to the server and send messages in real-time to all connected users. The project includes both client-side and server-side code, and can be easily deployed to a web server.

Installation

To install and run the project, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine.
  2. Install the dependencies using npm install.
  3. Run the server using npm start.
  4. Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000.

Usage

Once you've started the server and opened the app in your web browser, you can enter your name and a message in the form at the bottom of the page and hit "Send" to send your message to all connected clients. The app will display all messages sent by all clients in a chat log above the form.
