v/oct to key - is it possible? #12
Comments
It should be possible with a small code change. What platform are you using? I'll see if I can cook something up for you. |
it is archlinux. thanks a lot! |
Hi, Try this: AmalgamatedHarmonics-0.5.8-p1-lin.zip You'll need to open the context menu and select 'Chromatic (V/OCT)' at the bottom. The ROTL and ROTR inputs will still shift the current key around the circle, but the ROOT input should track across the keyboard (standard V/OCT) inputs |
It has weird bug - I can get ROOT as G|Em only when I send C# to this input; when I send G - I get Db|Bbm. However, it works and it is awesome! Just what I wanted. |
That's odd. Which is that keyboard module do you use? It looks very useful. I think it might just be a question of the lights being bugged, but I'd like to fix it and put it into the next main release. |
It is from Autodafe plugin, module named simply 'Keyboard' |
Hmm, it's pretty broken. |
OK, so I think it's working now... |
Just tested it - version p2 works correctly. |
Great - thanks for the feedback! Fixed in 8ef074e |

So that I could use it like that:
