The waste classification system provides users to detect and classify the waste into six major categories namely; Biodegradable, Paper, Plastic, Cardboard, Metal and Glass using Yolov8 model.

By analyzing the waste, the system facilitates the users with the correct waste category for effective waste management and recycling process.

This streamlit application allows users to upload an image, a video of the waste and also a direct access to their camera for real-time detection and classification of waste materials.
