Meta proposal: "demo day" events

Following #35 I would like to suggest here that we the community should organize a pre-conference day in one of the tech or foundry company offices before some of the main type conferences, like the spec authors do for the OT working group itself, but for people to "unconference" the axes proposal discussions, or to "hackathon" independent demos of fonts/pages using the proposed axes.

I will be at TypeCon and possibly at ATypI.

I'm also hoping to be in New York for the TDC medal award ceremony in July, but that's probably a less convenient opportunity for others not located on the East Coast.

Alright! So David Lemon and I will be at Typographics, and we and John will be at TypeCon. I believe TypeNetwork folks will be at both of these, too.

So I'll try to get something set up...

For Typographics, the Sunday would be ideal for me. I guess we can use a corner of the TypeLab, but if not, we can use the G office that is not too far away.
