bug feedback for pop-up window and preferences

Every time I open the SketchUp 2022 software, the OS app 1.3.1 will play this window: "path to OpenStudio root directory" . image description

And after setting the preferences in the OS, open SketchUp 2022 again and it will return to its original state. image description

The function is normal, but every time the pop-up window is a little problem

What version of the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in do you have? Can you paste the information from your Extensions->OpenStudio->About OpenStudio menu?

Also, do you have the OpenStudio Application 1.3.1 installed at C:\openstudioapplication-1.3.1? You should see the files C:\openstudioapplication-1.3.1\bin\OpenStudioApp.exe and C:\openstudioapplication-1.3.1\Ruby\openstudio_modeleditor.rb

OpenStudio SDK (core) Version: 3.4.0

SketchUp version: SketchUp Pro 2022.
And my system information:
Windows 10 Education 20H2 x64

I deleted the OpenStudio SDK 3.4.0 and reinstalled the SU on the default path to solve these issues. Looking at this, were you all entering paths with a backslash \ (which is the standard on Windows) or a forward slash /? I think using backslashes might be the issue, they might be interpreted as a control character somewhere
