Close all the running instances of Google Chrome and run it with the option --allow-file-access-from-files (on Windows also Run as Administrator), then open the file index.html.
Close all the running instances of Mozilla Firefox. Open it and enter the address about:config, then set to False the option named security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy. Now open the file index.html.
