Remplacement des noms propres par leur traduction originale des Ebooks du Trône de Fer.
J'ai d'abord vu les trois premières saisons du Trone de Fer en VOSTFR. La traduction était claire, et je trouvais que les noms comme "Casterly Rock", "King's Landing" ou "Riverrun" avaient une sacré classe.
Quand la saison 3 s'est terminée, j'ai eu terriblement envie de lire les livres de Georges R.R. Martin. J'ai donc commencé par le début. Et la, les noms propres sont devenus "Castral Roc", "Port-Réal" ou encore "Vivesaigues".
La ou auparavant j'étais immergé dans un monde Heroic Fantasy, je me retrouvais dans l'imaginaire du Club des Cinq mélangé a celui de Marcel Pagnol.
J'ai donc décidé de créer un dictionnaire des noms propres du Trone de Fer, et un script qui utilise Calibre pour remplacer les noms en VF par les originaux. J'espère que ce travail servira aux lecteurs de "A song of Ice and Fire" qui comme moi, aiment le lire en francais mais sont dérangés par les noms propres traduits.

Replace French proper nouns by their English equivalents in the Game of Thrones Ebooks.
I initially saw the first three Game of Thrones seasons with the English sound track and French subtitles. The translation was clear and I found the names like "Casterly Rock", "King's Landing" or "Riverrun" had a real sense of class about them.
When the 3rd season ended, I was compelled to read the books by George R.R. Martin. I decided to start from the begining and it was there that names chosen for the French translation became "Castral Roc", "Port-Réal" or "Vivesaigues".
Where before I was submerged in the Fantasy world, I found myself in the fantasy "The Famous Five" mixed with Marcel Pagnol.
I have therefore decided to create a dictionary of proper nouns in a game of thrones and a script using Calibre to replace the names in the French version by those of the English version. I hope this work will serve the readers of "A Song of Ice and Fire" who, like me, enjoy reading the French text but are bothered par the translated proper nouns.
