We are using this library and need support for different color on the counter.

Please help review this PR and see if it can be merged. I have tested it on my local branch.
Also if you merge this previous pr first (#24), the adaption to new library PropTypes will create merge conflicts with my PR.
I can can help resolve these conflict once the previous PR is merged.
