Anemometer Arduino

Anemometer Overview

The goals of this project are to:

  1. Display live wind speed data onto an SPI screen
  2. Set up a server to give access to the wind speed variable.

  • Adafruit GFX Library by Adafruit
  • Adafruit ST7735 and ST7789 Library by Adafruit
  • ESP Async WebServer by Hristo Gochkov
  • AsyncTCP by Hristo Gochkov

Material

  1. Anemometer
  2. WeMos MCU or an Arduino with a ESP8266 module.
  3. ST7735 Display (or any other screen of your choice)
  4. TTP226 (8 touch buttons) or TTP224 (4 touch buttons)
  5. Two Arduinos
  6. One LED

Wiring

Anemometer

  • The voltage wire is attached to the wires of a 12V supply.
  • The data wire is inserted into the Pin 12 of the Arduino with the transmitter module.
  • The ground wire is inserted into the Ground Pin of the same Arduino.
