This is a Cockpit Package to manage RetroNAS, it is hoped this (or something very much like this) will become the main ui longterm.
Cockpit itself was already included in the RetroNAS project as a more accessible UI for managing storage devices and other functionality. Leveraging Cockpit meant we did not have to develop a bespoke solution for general system administrator tasks.
So it made sense to look at if Cockpit could be extended in the first instance when thinking about what a future UI may look like.
What came next was an attempt at a bit of hackery that quickly formed into a working preview which, at that point in time, was feature comparable with the existing TUI within a couple of hours.
