Hi I'm Mike, and I'm best known for running the Ludum Dare game jam event. I've been its caretaker since 2007, but we've run events since 2002.

In another life I was a professional game developer. Since 1999 I worked on numerous console and mobile games, all while the hobby (Ludum Dare) continued to grow. Eventually Ludum Dare got big, and I had to change my priorities.

Today I run a small software company Interactive Snacks Limited. Both the company and I are focused on growing and expanding what we started with Ludum Dare. Run better events, provide a better experience, and do anything we can to inspire and encourage people to create.
