Issues opening existing Netpad script on Ubuntu 22.04

I have some difficulties opening Netpad script on Ubuntu, when I put them in the Netpad scripts folder, it will not appear in the script explorer. Also not after restarting

When I open the Netpad script itself, I used Netpad as the startup application, it does open a new empty script. A good addition would be to have in the file tab have new option to open an existing Netpad file from disk.

This probably is somewhat related to the OS being Linux, so I'm willing to test and help debugging for possible fixes.
