Recently I find a difference in ubermag and oommf. The spin current direction is controlled by the reference vector, like mp = (1,0,0), but in oommf, if I change the sign of current density, e.g. from 1e12 to -1e12, the spin current direction will change to the opposite direction, which can be revealed that the direction of final magnetization changes. But in ubermag, no matter positive or negative current denstiy, the magnetization will only align parallel with mp. I don't if it is designed or it is a bug. But it confuses me and also brings a problem, that ubermag does not allow a space-variant mp (I am not sure about this but I made some trials and I failed) so I can not place desired current direction as a function of the space.
Below are the code I use.

Hi @Siyuanq, thank you for letting us know about this issue. Could you please share the MIF file you created for OOMMF to help us investigate further?

Hi @Siyuanq, thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I cannot find/access your files. Could you please attach them to the comment on this issue? Besides, if I understand correctly, you did your simulations in OOMMF. What we would be interested in are the MIF files you generated so that we can make a comparison.

Hi, I have attached the file. The mif files are generated by ubermag.
