People Local Interactions Protocol

One missing aspect of blockchain technology as it is now is its connection to real world, to the people and their day to day interactions, blockchain still remains a parallel world disconnected from reality, a niche technology only usable by techies that go through the great lengths of learning the complexities of the decentralized systems.

Making this revolutionary technology accessible to everyone is the holy grail, many people are already trying to tackle the usability problems that distributed ledgers create, but often at the cost of reducing its decentralization, which is the core value proposition that makes this systems unique in the first place. What PLIP brings to the table is a way for people to connect and interact in very simple and familiar ways, allowing individuals interact with one another within their local communities in a simple, secure and still decentralized way.

A blockchain bridge to the real world

In the real world PLIP proposes two main ways for people to interact with each other with minimized trust,

  • Communication/chat
  • Deals/trades

On-chain and Off-chain technology

  • Pallets
    • Rates/Deals
    • Escrow
  • Identity
  • Matrix and Substrate
