Wandora 2017-10-12 supports small subset of GIT commands allowing Wandora user to checkout Wandora projects out of GIT repositories and push changed topic maps back to GIT repository. Wandora 2017-10-12 works better on Macs and fixes some small bugs.

Wandora 2016-05-10

Release adds subject locator preview for Sinclair ZX snapshots and Commodore 64 disk images. Both previews are pure emulations enabling ZX and C64 software execution. Structure of distribution packages has changed: Now Wandora's Java classes locate in a JAR instead of separate class files. Samples and extras folders have been removed from the Wandora application repository. Some older subject identifiers have been removed from Wandora's base ontologies.

Wandora 2015-11-13

Wandora 2015-11-13 fixes a lot of OS X related bugs. Release introduces enhanced subject locator previews for WWW resources, including videos, images, audio files and interactive fiction (z-machine). The release has been compiled and tested in Java 8.

Wandora 2015-08-06

Wandora 2015-08-06 contains upgraded Processing and Gate/Annie. The release features IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework) extractor and exporter, and IoT (Internet of Things) Pinger. Also, Wandora's DataURI support and subject locator preview have been enhanced.

2015-04-20

This is mainly a bug fix release but has also some new features.

This release adds Wandora application support for Data URI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_URI_scheme) occurrences. Data URI occurrences enable binary data occurrences. Support for data URIs will affect widely the Wandora application in future releases. At the moment the application doesn't support all possible use cases that emerge along Data URIs.

This release adds Wandora a Twitter JSON extractor. This addition is targeted to archive organizations that already collect tweets with twurl (https://github.com/twitter/twurl), for example. Chaining Wandora's Twitter JSON extractor with Wandora's HTML site export function, Wandora turns into a tool that convert Twitter data to a static HTML page visualization.

More over, this release adds Wandora application refactored generators. Generators are small tools that generate topics and associations algorithmically. Refactored generators allow the user to connect generated content with Wandora's base ontology. Also, refactored generators have several new options to modify generated content.

Wandora's Graph topic panel has two new sliders: Node mass and edge stiffness. These new global graph settings help the user to clean up and stabilize complex graphs.

Wandora 2015-02-03

Wandora 2015-02-03 enhances Wandora's UI. Wandora's View menu has been restructured. Wandora features new view (topic) panels: Search, Tree, Layer info and Drop extractor. All these are old features but have now an alternative user interface as a (topic) panel.

Wandora 2014-11-24

Wandora 2014-11-24 features Watson API translation for topics and texts, an Alchemy API Face Detection extractor, enhanced occurrence view in Traditional topic panel and adds default support for French, Spanish and German languages (addition to earlier English, Finnish and Swedish) in occurrences and topic names. The release includes numerous other enhancements and fixes also.

Wandora 2014-09-25

Release fixes Flickr and New York Times extractors. It features Umbel API and ReKognition scenery extractors. It also contains some smaller fixes and enhancements.

The release 2014-08-20 features a ReKognition face detection extractor, an Alchemy API image keyword extractor, a SameAs.org subject expander, a Waiana service module, and a SameAs service module. The release has also some minor bug fixes and enhancements.
