It is challenging to create a GKE cluster from Google Cloud if you are not family. This script based automation allows you to build a Kasten K10 demo environment running on GKE. Below tasks will be automatically completed within 10 minutes. Typically, the environment will be ready to go in about 6 minutes.
- Create a GKE Cluster from CLI
- Install Kasten K10
- Create a location profile
- Deploy a Postgres database
- Create a backup policy
- Kick off an on-demand backup job
