NOTICE of INTENTION TO HACK by M0OOZ

THE FIRST COMMITS ARE FOR READABILITY

Readability is the ease with which a reader can understand a written text. In natural language, the readability of text depends on its content (the complexity of its vocabulary and syntax) and its presentation (such as typographic aspects like font size, line height, and line length).

I have made some clarification of the comments within the code. The first is the explanation on how the filter switching should work for the V3 and V4 boards. This explanation is also available as a markdown document above the uBITX firmware folder (ubitx_20), together with schematics, in .PNG format, of the low pass filters refered to.

I will continue with these commits, as I believe this helps clarify functionality or in other words, it helps one understand 'how it works'

SOFTWARE TOOLS FOR TESTING uBITX

I have written code based upon this code that helps diagnose problems on the uBITX V4 board that I received. I intend to upload these tools to git-hub as soon as I have tidied the code up a little & have time to do this.

For the time being, the following is still true

As yet I have made no code changes to the 'CEC' firmware, so you may use the hex file, which contains the same functionality as the code is this fork of the repository. However, this may change and when the hex file does differ from the source in this fork, I will remove the links below.

THIS IS THE BASIS OF A NUMBER OF HACKS

This includes a diagnostic tool for uBITX hardware that does not appear to function corectly
