rOpenSci Expanding Software Peer Review

This is the source repository for rOpenSci's Statistical Software Peer Review book, which can be viewed at https://ropensci.github.io/statistical-software-review-book. This book is an extension of rOpenSci Packages: Development, Maintenance, and Peer Review book, documenting our guidelines and procedures for peer review of statistical software.

You are invited to contribute to this project by filing suggestions as issues in the book's GitHub repository. We also have a dedicated area for discussion on the rOpenSci forum.

For this project we are lucky to have support of a great editorial committee, the members of which guide the editorial process, help with outreach to statistical communities, vet community input, and prioritize future development. The editorial committee members are:

The structure of this book was derived from rOpenSci's Blog Guidelines for Authors and Editors by Stefanie Butland and Maëlle Salmon, itself started using Sean Kross's minimal bookdown example.
