This part is used to print a Lithophane test part.

A lithophane works by transparency. The image is reproduced by a palette of color variations around a base color. We obtain this range of colors by varying the printing thickness.

Before printing your first lithophane with a new filament, it is therefore necessary to define the minimum and maximum thicknesses most suitable. This test allows to print walls between 0.4 mm and 4 mm with a step of 0.2 mm. This will suit those who print with a 0.4mm diameter nozzle. This part should be printed under the same conditions as the lithophanies you will make with this new filament.

Once printed, expose the print to light, or better, to the lighting intended for your lithophane, in order to identify the minimum and maximum thicknesses to be transferred when modeling the lithophane.
